OBJECTIVES OF MBA PROGRAMME

The objective of the MBA programme is to educate and prepare a diverse group of men and women with the knowledge, analytical ability and management perspectives and skills needed to provide leadership to organizations competing in a world increasingly characterized by diversity in the workforce, rapid technological change , and a fiercely competitive global marketplace. In MIM, MBA is designed to prepare students for careers in management and leadership in both the private and public sectors. Students acquire a comprehensive foundation in the fundamentals of business, the global environment in which they will function, and the analytical tools for intelligent decision-making.

CONSTITUTION OF THE GOVERNING COUNCIL

The V .N. Gangadhara Panicker Memorial Trust was formed as a respectful tribute to Sri. V.N. Gangadhara Panicker, eminent educationalist, philanthropist, businessman and social figure. He was renowned for his noble objectives and clarity of vision aimed at developing the economically underprivileged sections in society. With his foresight and unstinting application, he established his school over five decades ago at Anad, a rural village near Nedumangad in Thiruvananthapuram District. Though located in an underdeveloped area, the well-conceived school with its quality education was deemed model institute of learning, even in those early days, considered a trend setter with its own well stocked library and auditorium that accommodated well over 1000 students, the school continues to function today in a commendable manner, as an eloquent testimony to Sri.V N. Gangadhara Panicker’s vision in the field of education.
